Kathy Griffin on Donald Trump: 'He broke me'

Image
A contrite and sometimes teary-eyed Kathy Griffin held a press conference Friday to reveal she’s been bullied by the White House and has endured numerous death threats as a result of her controversial photo mocking President Donald Trump. Griffin said she’s now the subject of a Secret Service investigation for a threat against the president after she was  photographed holding a bloody bust of Trump  — which she described as being created in minutes with a Styrofoam head covered in ketchup. “Sometimes you want to tell people a joke that’s out there and a little crazy,” Griffin said in front of a massive bank of reporters and cameramen in Woodland Hills, California. “My apology stands. I feel horrible. If I could re-do the whole thing, I would do it with a blow-up doll and no ketchup.” When asked to describe the reason she agreed to the photo shoot, Griffin said she was thinking about how she could “get in trouble. Let’s give them something to talk about. Of course, you have to make fun

Zac Efron shows off his 'pole dance' moves

Image
Zac Efron is giving new meaning to pole dancing. The  Baywatch  star appeared alongside Tom Cruise and Annabelle Wallis on Friday’s  The Graham Norton Show , where the host showed a picture from an Efron photoshoot. In the photo, he hung sideways from a parking meter, all while shirtless.  Risky Business , indeed. This led to Norton challenging the actor to prove he could really pull it off. And with the help of a pole and Flo Rida’s “Low,” a song with which Cruise has his  own history , Efron showed his moves have only gotten better with age. “I’m so happy I can still do that,” he tearfully joked. Baywatch , which costars Dwayne Johnson, Alexandria Daddario, and  Jon Bass , is now in theaters. Efron was on the  Forbes   Celebrity 100  list in 2008 as number 92, with estimated earnings of $5.8 million from June 2007 to June 2008. In April 2009, his personal wealth equaled about $10 million. Even the smallest bit of information is a big deal and I appreciate that. But I wanted to make sure fans know this is a really embryo

America Ferrera, Uzo Aduba honor Immigrant Heritage Month in star-studded PSA

Image
Some of Hollywood’s biggest stars are making a powerful declaration: “I stand with immigrants.” America Ferrera,  Uzo Aduba , George Takei and more have participated in a moving  new PSA  to celebrate immigrants in honor of Immigrant Heritage Month. The stars, including Jason Sudeikis and  Broad City ‘s  Ilana Glazer , together recited “I stand, Because I am…” written by poet and actor Lemon Andersen. “We all stand here together with our hands open,” Ferrera, 33, began. Aduba continued her words: “Stretched out under this beautiful, boundless, American sky. We stand here and celebrate the glories of our nation.” Takei, 80, Ferrera and Aduba, 36, continued the poetic address, noting that immigrants came to America with their hands outstretched, “waiting for a hammer and nail; a shovel and rake; a basket and fruit; a dish to wash; a class to teach; a child to raise; a business to build and a cure for the sick.” The stars vowed to continue to carve a path for immigrants and “make the road

Reign recap: 'A Bride. A Box. A Body.'

Image
Queening ain’t easy — nobody knows that more than Mary, Queen of Scots. And unfortunately, it’s not going to get any easier. With the gruesome death of David Rizzio, her trusted adviser and BFF, still fresh in her mind (have the interwebs created a tribute to Rizzio set to “I’ll Be Missing You” yet? WE’RE ALL WAITING), Mary puts on her “I’m Not Messing Around” tweed and heads out to take back her castle. She and Bothwell waste no time in arresting the only traitor left, the Lord Treasurer, stringing him up outside the castle and letting him hang for his crimes. Once made queasy by the thought of killing someone, Mary will suffer no fools — especially fools who murdered her dear Rizzio. Mary has her power back, but what good does that do her if she can’t dish out some justice for the treasonous actions of her privy council? They’ve all fled, and she wants them promptly found, not only so she can punish them, but also so she can force them to testify that John Knox was the brains behind

The Originals recap: 'Phantomesque'

Image
Faith, love, and hope have rescued the Mikaelson clan from a multitude challenges over the last thousand years. There’s faith that Freya can whip up a spell to fix even the most harrowing of situations. There’s a deep, abiding love for family above all else. And there’s Hope. As in the small witch living in the creepy New Orleans compound with a bunch of Originals. When we last left Elijah, he was stuck inside a pendant, suffering in the depths of his own subconsciousness. Brutal, right? On the outside, he’s decaying in a posh coffin. So, he’s mostly dead. But that doesn’t matter in vampire world. How do I know this? Because vampires start dropping right and left at a dance party in the French Riviera. I would feel bad for them if I wasn’t so excited that we get to see Kol and Rebekah again! The sibling duo immediately recognize this trend and bolt for New Orleans. An Original has died and heads are going to roll. Or Hollows. Perhaps both? While Kol and Rebekah make their way to the co

Wonder Woman star Chris Pine dings Avengers: Infinity War

Image
In an interview during the  Wonder Woman  press junket, Pine was asked about director Patty Jenkins’ infusion of humanity to the blockbuster format. “Within this genre, it’s difficult to do something new,” he said in part, “and usually you just see a bunch of people killing one another in the outfits and blowing up cities, and, you know. Like, I know there’s a thing called  Infinity War  coming out, which I like, I don’t… Really? Like,  Infinity War ? We need more war for all time?” Joe and Anthony Russo are busy directing  Avengers: Infinity War  for Marvel, which follows  Captain America: Civil War ,  Doctor Strange , and  Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 . Pine said  Wonder Woman  breaks the mold of the superhero genre in featuring “a woman who’s about love and compassion, and love trumps all. How great is that? That’s a pretty crazy awesome thing.” Watch the interview below. Following harsh reviews for  Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice  and  Suicide Squad ,  Wonder Woman  currentl
